some issues

stained bedsheetsstrange smell
the room was not very clean. bedsheets had some stains, and i found the bathroom to have dust and a strange smell. i had booked the wrong nights, completely my fault. however, i was told that i couldn't get a refund and couldn't switch the dates. it felt a bit inflexible, especially given the lack of on-site staff.

spacious Suite stay

ample spaceuseful hobhelpful microwavecomfortable bed
the suite ground floor fg offered ample space and included helpful amenities. i found a hob, microwave, fridge, toaster, and kettle in the kitchen... everything needed for our stay. having a washing machine in the room was a definite plus, especially for a longer visit. the bed was comfortable, a regular double, not two twins pushed together.
the studio suite fb room we booked wasn't in the listing photos. we didn't know what we had booked, and the room didn't quite meet expectations. it felt a little dated and dark.
Facilities
9/10
the suite featured a high ceiling that added to the sense of space. it also included a fireplace that enhanced the room's ambience and charm, especially in the evenings.
Service
10/10
the staff was adjustable to our needs. the owner sent clear instructions for reaching the flat. they are easy to contact with any concerns.
Location

Excellent city stay

clean roomgood amenitieseasy accesshelpful website
The room was very clean. It had good amenities for a short visit. The location allowed easy access to all attractions. The supplementary information on the owner's website helped me plan activities.
The stairs to the room are very steep and narrow, so it is not suitable for people with mobility issues.
Facilities

The hotel supplies useful essentials like free biscuits on arrival. The kitchenette features appliances and utensils. I found these details.

The location is near Princess Street, so most places were close. I walked to the Royal Botanic Gardens. This garden visit provided a peaceful contrast to the city.

the location was very good. i think the price was reasonable. i also found chocolates on the table.. it was a nice gesture.
the windows had cracked panes, and they rattled every time a bus went past. this happened very often. i found it hard to sleep, the noise was so bad. the bathroom was also a bit manky round the edges.
